Our partner Guintrand, canner since 1898 in Provence, was of the 124 artisans selected to represent French craftsmanship at the Major Made in France Exhibition which took place at the Elysee Palace on July 1st & 2nd, 2023.Â

This classic of Mediterranean cuisine is made with eggplants and tomatoes from Provence. The eggplants are trimmed, washed, then cut into large pieces and fried in sunflower oil. They are served with a tomato coulis cooked in olive oil and scorched onion and flavored with a hint of garlic and fresh parsley. Simply delicious on side of BBQ, kebabs, patties!
