Did you know that The Levant is an easterly wind blowing over the Southern Alps, Provence, and over the Mediterranean basin to Corsica? It is generally mild, very humid, and associated with unsettled weather. It blows most frequently in late fall, winter, and spring. In Provence, it sometimes happens that the east blows in good weather during the summer; it is then called "white levant", "repaired" or "levantas".

Inspired by the countries of the Middle East, this blend of "Levant" organic spices is inspired by Zaatar. Based on thyme (woody & floral), sumac (tangy & acidic), sesame (nutty & rich) and paprika. It will give a smoky oriental touch to all your dishes.
