More on Rooibois teas:
This name comes from the English "red bush" transformed into "Rooïbos" in South Africa (production region). It therefore does not belong to the tea family and comes in the form of fine needles. Without theine, it is consumed hot or cold and is becoming popular with an increasingly large audience. Rooibos stands out in particular with a different flavor, more herbaceous than tea. Rooibos is also called red tea (wrongly) because its infusion gives a red liquor. In reality, Rooibos is a plant that belongs to the broom family. Traditionally, Rooibos is created by fermenting the leaves, which take on a red-brown color. There are some varieties that have a greenish appearance, those leaves have not been fermented.
