SYRUPS FROM COMBIER
At Douce France, we are proud to provide customers with a wide variety of syrups from France crafted by Combier, founded in 1834 by Jean-Baptiste Combier. This distillery has also been recognized as A Living Heritage Company and it is the oldest artisanal distillery in the Val de Loire. The company uses a mix of fruits, spices, and aromatic herbs to concoct tasty syrups and liquors. Beyond these ingredients, Combier simply adds natural sugar and water to its concoctions and does not use any additives or preservatives.
Among our best selling syrups, our red fruit ones are stellar and best paired with champagne, sparkling white wine, cider, beer, or even milk. You can even add a few drops of them to your ice creams or crêpes! Also worth noting, our grapefruit syrup is sensational paired with rosé - it makes for the perfect refreshing cocktail!
NECTARS & JUICES FROM PRESSOIRS DE PROVENCE, LE PRESSEUR D'ICI
We invite you to refresh yourself and surprise your guests with 100% natural nectars and juices, all made with locally sourced fruits ripened under the sun of Provence.
Our suppliers work with local farmers, they support all year long.
Serve them chilled as such or with an addition of one of Combier's syrups! Delighful!
LEMONADES FROM ELIXIA
We are proud to share with you that our supplier Elixia, lemonade manufacturer in the Jura, was one of the 124 artisans selected to represent French craftsmanship at the Major Made in France Exhibition which took place at the Elysee Palace on July 1st & 2nd, 2023.
What makes his lemonades different? Because they are made up of water from the Jura Mountains according to ancestral know-how perpetuated by our partner who truly deserves his recognition for his commitment.
Some are sugar-free, organic with an addition of syrup from the agave plant (a natural sugar substitute containing about 25% fewer calories than refined sugar and with a lower glycemic index), others come with an addition of cane sugar. Never too sweet, just what's needed to make them delectable. Give them a try & judge for yourself!
