There are many versions of galettes des rois on the market these days. What makes the quality of this delightful dessert is the quality of the butter and of the flour for sure, and also the way the stuffing frangipane is prepared. It has to be generous without being too heavy.
We get our galettes des rois Made in France according to tradition and bake them in house. They are made with PDO Charente-Poitou butter and non-enriched wheat flour. They are stuffed with frangipane slightly flavoured with a touch of Madagascar vanilla and rum. A real delight!
It comes with a crown, of course! and a special bag.
