As promised, today is the day! Wednesday the 15th of October, 2025!
You are now able to preorder your favorite Advent Calendars as well as 2025 Edition Holiday Season delicacies coming from France in limited stock.
Where and for which destination ?
You can place your orders, preferably online, or when passing by the store.
No orders will be taken over the phone.
Your orders will be shipped Canada wide by UPS till Canada Post resumes work. UPS services are as reliable.
We really would love to but cannot ship any orders to the US and have to wait till the end of the strike to work with Canada Post again.
Thus, orders received for US destinations will be systematically cancelled and refunded.
How to proceed with Advent calendars?
You can place your orders, whether online or in-store, from now on.
When we get them, we will send you a note confirming your order with your choice and number of Advent Calendars kept on hold for you.
Note that only items available on the website at the moment when you place your order can be added to the Advent Calendars.
We will come back to you as soon as we are delivered to ship your Advent Calendars to you or to your giftees, with or without any other items, as requested or inform you that they are ready for pick up.
Note that none of the 2025 Edition Holiday Season delicacies coming in limited stock can be added to Advent Calendars as they are due to arrive by the first week of December. If you have inadvertently included some in your order, we will then have to remove them from your order and send you a refund.
Now, if it does not matter to you, you are OK to get the Advent calendars later in December, you just need to clearly let us know by writing a message in the "order special instructions" at the top right hand corner when you place your order.
We will then ship everything to you at the beginning of December. That option works for us too as long as you accept to get them after December 1st.
How to proceed with Limited Stock 2025 Edition Holiday Season delicacies coming from France?
Step 1: You can place your first order, whether online or in-store, from now on or wait till Friday, Oct 17th.
Note that only items available on the website at the moment when you place this order can be added to the Limited Stock 2025 Edition Holiday Season items.
When we get it, we will send you a note confirming your order is in good hands, with its number noted to be dealt with in priority once we are delivered.
Step 2: GREAT NEWS!
Restocking 1: THIS WEEK
We are restocking, by the end of this week, the following items. They will then be available to be preordered too by Friday, Oct 17th.
Unless you prefer to place a separate order to have them shipped to you straight away.
1. Jeannette 1850's Madeleines (DDM will be Dec 16th)
2. L'Ambr'1' caramel spreads and caramel candies
3. Michel Chatillon's biscuits, fruits jellies, nougatine, galettes fines, florentins
4. Peureux' Griottines® and Griottines® Cointreau, Cassis (Blackcurrant)
5. Voisin's chocolates (keeping in mind that there will be more coming in December).
Restocking 2: FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER
Because everything else will be coming together by the first week of December, we really encourage you to save somewhere on your side, the selection of all the other delicacies you would love to be shipped to you.
Why? Some delicacies now appear as sold out, as new, as back soon, or coming soon as we do not have any in stock. The day we are delivered in the first week of December, all of them will be restocked and, only then, you will be able to place a second order as an addition to the first one (you will have placed for the Limited Stock 2025 Edition Holiday Season delicacies, with or without any available items and that we will have confirmed in the meantime), to have everything shipped to you together.
How DOUCE FRANCE will know that you are a same customer having placed 2 orders?
We will simply get back to you once all the merchandise has been delivered from France and ask you if you would like to have your first order shipped as such OR if you would like to place an additional order.
Because it will be the peak time of the year for our team, we will give you 48h to reply. If the answer is yes for an additional order, we will be very grateful to you to reply given us the number of your first order and place your second order immediately online so that we will be able to easily combine both and ship everything together in a timely manner.
If we do not hear from you within 48h, we will consider that we shall ship your first order as such.
