Maison Bremond 1830's black tapenade is the result of a Provençal recipe based on Tanche variety olives, anchovies and capers. It comes to us from the Vaucluse just above the Mont Ventoux. The real one!
Tanche is the emblematic olive variety of the Pays de Nyons and the Baronnies Provençales. Used as a table olive or tapenade, it gives off aromas of cloves, cherries and prunes, but also chocolate and cocoa.
The green olive version is as good! Both will be delicious on toasts, ciappe, bruschetta, with raw vegetables, or with meat. Bon appétit!
